Dated back in 2010, we were established as a Micro Finance Institution with the mission to connect entrepreneurs in rural areas who face difficulties in finding business capital. And today Amartha grows into a fintech peer to peer lending company that directly connects micro entrepreneurs with online financiers.
Our story begins when we found out that many micro entrepreneurs cannot get business capital due to insufficient collateral, fluctuating income, and the absence of credit history. However we believe that the power of technology and the spirit of community will give them an opportunity as a qualified borrower. On the other hand, by investing in micro and small enterprises have proven to create a social impact.
We also believe that by continuing to facilitate access from the financiers to micro and small enterprises will give a lasting contribution in improving the quality of life for the communities who life at the bottom of the pyramid, building economic resilience, and realizing social justice for all Indonesians.
