Impact Program

We recognize that the impact we have on the environment, society, and governance is just as important as our economic impact. As a result, we have launched several initiatives based on Amartha's ESG pillars: Amartha Lestari, Amartha Madani, and Amartha Bestari. We have assisted vulnerable groups through various programs, particularly women and underserved communities.

Mangrove Planting

Amartha has teamed up with Blueforest to plant 4,000 Mangrove trees across a 2-hectare conservation site in Tanakeke, South Sulawesi, during 2022. Over the next four years, Amartha aims to expand this initiative and plant a total of 70 hectares of mangroves.

Light Up The Village

Amartha made a valuable contribution to two distant villages in South Sumatra by generously donated 500 solar-powered lamps for the residents' daily usage, as well as 35 additional lamps for lighting up the village streets. The implementation of this crucial infrastructure is anticipated to enhance productivity, thereby creating a more optimistic outlook towards prosperity

Local Heroes Award

Amartha chooses resilient and inspiring women living in rural areas to be awarded with the "Local Heroes" award. As part of this recognition, Amartha also presented them with cash prizes and household electronics.

Amartha Cendekia Scholarship

Bringing attention to the inequality in education for young female, Amartha has committed to awarding scholarships to 30 female high school students in 2022. The scholarship program covers tuition fees and offers mentorship from foster siblings and motivational classes aimed at encouraging students to pursue higher education. Amartha has recently opened registrations for the second batch of scholarships this year.

Digital Village

Amartha provides free WiFi access points to rural communities, aimed at enhancing business productivity and providing learning facilities for children. The Amartha Digital Village initiative was launched in Balaesang, Donggala, Central Sulawesi, and is expected to expand to other areas in the future.

Public Service Donation

Amartha has made a diverse range of contributions, including donations of gas stoves and promotional banners to aid micro businesses, formula milk packages, free glasses, and other essentials. This initiative is executed with a focus on identifying the areas requiring aid and considering the potential for establishing a sustainable social impact.

Annual Sustainability Report by Amartha

The Amartha's Annual Sustainability Report is a responsibility measurement to ensure that business decisions and intervention programs continue to be in line with the Amartha's vision: contributing to equal prosperity in Indonesia.
