The following day after the conference, there will be an organized field trip to observe and engage with MSMEs activities in the rural areas through an organized trip, with pre-booked reservations only. The 3-hour long trip from the Conference Venue to the selected village for a maximum of 20 participants, facilitated by three minivans. The activities include observation, interactive workshops and engagement with Amartha’s customers, field officers and agents. The field trip starts/finishes at the Conference Venue.

Andi Taufan Garuda Putra

Andi Taufan is an ITB graduate in Management and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University. Having a strong social compassion, Taufan pivoted in creating Amartha in 2010 as a microfinance institution then transformed into a financial technology company in 2016. Former Special Staff of The President of Republik Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, and Former Consultant, IBM. He has also received many awards such as Young Changemaker (2010), Ashoka: Penghargaan Satu Indonesia (2011), Astra: Laureate Global Fellow (2013) and Ganesha Innovation Champion Awards (2014).

Sri Mulyani

Minister of Finance of Republic Indonesia

Sri Mulyani Indrawati is the Minister of Finance of Indonesia since 2016. As finance minister, Sri Mulyani was known as a tough reformist and was largely credited with strengthening Indonesia’s economy, increasing investments and steering Southeast Asia’s largest economy through the financial crisis. In 2014, she was ranked as the 38th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes magazine.

Michael Schlein

Michael joined Accion in 2007 as a member of its Board of Directors and in 2009, became Accion’s President and CEO. Prior to his employment at Accion, Michael served as President of Citigroup’s International Franchise Management, where he managed the bank’s network of 100 Chief Country Officers. Before that, he ran communications, philanthropy, government relations, branding, and human resources for Citigroup. He served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Clinton Administration and in New York’s City Hall in the Dinkins and Koch Administrations. He began his career in investment banking.

Teten Masduki

Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Republic of Indonesia
Teten Masduki is an Indonesian social activist involved in public clearinghouse for information about corruption, collusion, and nepotism of Indonesia. He was appointed as the Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in the Onward Indonesia Cabinet in October 2019. He was awarded Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2005. On 2 September 2015, he was appointed by President as successor to Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. He is the second Chief of Staff in history to lead Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Mirza Adityaswara

Mirza Adityaswara has more than 30 years in finance and government. Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Economics from Universitas Indonesia in 1992, he pursued a Master’s in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in 1995. His journey commenced as a Dealer at Bank Sumitomo Niaga in 1989, evolving into roles like Head of Securities Trading & Research at Bahana Sekuritas. Notable positions include Director at Credit Suisse Securities Indonesia and Managing Director at Mandiri Sekuritas. Serving as Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia from 2013 to 2019, he also undertook roles in the Financial Services Authority. As Minister of Finance Experts and President Director of the Indonesian Banking Development Institute, he furthered his impact from 2020 to 2022.

Ridha Wirakusumah

Ridha Wirakusumah is one of Indonesia’s top executives in banking, financial services, and investment with more than 30 years of experience at leading global and Indonesian institutions. Before joining INA, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Bank Permata, Head of Indonesia at KKR & CO., and Chief Executive Officer of Bank Maybank Indonesia. He previously has served in several multinational corporations including as CEO of Asia Pacific AIG Consumer Finance, CEO of Asia Pacific GE Capital Consumer Finance and Banking, CEO of GE Capital Thailand, CEO of GE Capital Indonesia, as well as Head of Corporate Finance of Bankers Trust, and Head of Public Sector of Citibank Indonesia.

Christina Juhasz

Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer Women’s World Banking
Christina (CJ) Juhasz is the Chief Investment Officer of Women’s World Banking Asset Management. She has worked for the organization since 2007, and for WWB Asset Management since its inception in 2011. She leads the management of Funds I and II for Emerging Markets, directing equity investments into Women’s World Banking’s network members and other women-focused inclusive FSPs, to provide responsible growth capital and demonstrate the business case for investing in women. Before transitioning into the role of the CIO, Ms. Juhasz was the director of the Women’s World Banking Capital Markets Group where she conducted and oversaw due diligence, negotiation, and structuring of direct investments in or guarantees of over $6.5 million to four networks members from 2009-2011.

Djamal Attamimi

Managing Partner and CEO Lynx Asia
Djamal is an Indonesian and a senior banker in the Asian investment and corporate banking landscape, with over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in the region. He was previously the Asia Head of Debt Origination and Private Financing at Nomura Singapore and the SE Asia Head of Capital Markets & Treasury Services. He was also Head of Investment Banking for Indonesia at Deutsche Bank. Djamal has also worked in the structured finance space with Citibank and Rabobank. Djamal was instrumental in the early development of the Indonesian bond market. He is a co-founder of Lynx.

Qamar Saleem

QAMAR SALEEM is the SME Finance CEO, the world’s leading center for knowledge exchange, good practice promotion and public-private dialogue in this field. Qamar has been with IFC since 2012 and served in his previous roles as global technical lead for SME and Supply Chain Finance as well as regional SME Banking lead for EMENA. Qamar has 30+ years of global financial services experience having worked across 60+ countries internationally managing large business lines while leading multi-cultural and cross-functional teams.

Dirk Quaquebeke

Dirk van Quaquebeke is a Managing Partner at BEENEXT, a Singapore-based early-stage venture capital firm investing in India, Southeast Asia, Japan, and the U.S. He has been living in Asia since 2009 and has been building and investing in early-stage tech companies for over 15 years. He actively participates in over a dozen company boards and has led investments in over 50 companies, such as Trusting Social, Bank Open, FleetX, YAP, Cropin, Zenius. Prior to Beenext, he founded and led the company builder Alps Ventures Pte Ltd. out of which more than a dozen incubations and investments were done where he headed in an active operating role in 3 different ventures.

Bernhard Eikenberg

Bernhard Eikenberg serves as Partner of CIM Emerging Markets LLC (“CEM”) and co-founded the firm’s Emerging Markets strategy, where he focuses on investment and operations activities and is based out of Indonesia. Prior to co-founding CEM, Mr. Eikenberg spent a decade in various roles at Bamboo Capital Partners, an impact investment manager, where he served as Fund Manager for Bamboo’s fintech equity fund, Head of Financial Inclusion, and Regional Director for Latin America. Previously, he worked for BlueOrchard Finance, a microfinance investment manager, where he was responsible for debt operations in Central America and the Caribbean as well as local currency lending initiatives. Mr. Eikenberg began his career at JPMorgan in London, where he focused on fixed-income and currency derivatives.

Abishek Gupta

Abhishek Gupta has been working in rural development and agri-tech since 2005. In 2005, he worked as a Manager at Hindustan Unilever Ltd. In 2007 and worked as a Financial and Policy Journalist for various media organizations. In 2012, he worked as a Consultant for The World Bank. In 2014, he worked as a Rural Development & Livelihoods Specialist for BAPPENAS (Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning). From 2016 to 2021, he worked as a Rural Development Specialist (Team-Lead) and Consultant for The World Bank. In 2021, he became the Co-Founder of Semaai, a ‘farmer-first’ company building a comprehensive end-to-end agri-tech solution to help farmers and rural Agricultural shop owners in Indonesia

Ernest Saudjana

Managing Director & Senior Partner Boston Consulting Group
Ernest Saudjana, with Boston Consulting Group since 2006, leads Financial Institutions in Southeast Asia and corporate banking in Asia Pacific. He’s engaged with major institutions, tech disruptors, and regulators, focusing on strategy, transformation, and new business ventures. Seconded to the World Economic Forum in NY, he co-launched “Redefining the Emerging Market Opportunity,” promoting private sector innovations for financial expansion. A Global Shaper, he curated the Jakarta hub and served on the UN Shapers Sustainable Development Council, advancing UN goals worldwide. His BCG projects involve large-scale bank transformation, fintech development, and support for Indonesian family businesses on diverse strategic fronts.

Stephen Lee

Senior Director, Head of Asia Nuveen

Stephen is a senior director on the Private Equity Impact Team at Nuveen. He is primarily responsible for originating, underwriting and executing transactions globally for the team’s Inclusive Growth strategy. Stephen is also involved with the overall portfolio management of the team’s direct investments, and also represents the firm on several impact fund advisory committees. In addition, he is responsible for providing comprehensive research and analytical and operational support to the group’s core initiatives. Before joining the firm in 2014, Stephen worked as director of access to finance for Building Markets, a social enterprise based in New York that supports local businesses in post-conflict and developing countries. He has also held various positions at J.P. Morgan, Accenture and ATX Communications.

Hani Ibrahim

Chief Investment Officer Lendable

Hani brings 20 years of experience working across multiple jurisdictions spanning advisory, investment banking and private credit. He has an extensive background in emerging market private credit, recently serving as the Head of Debt Capital Markets at QInvest where he successfully established and executed the firm’s emerging markets direct lending strategy, deploying $500M in structured senior and mezzanine credit. Hani holds a BSc in Economics and Statistics and an MSc in Statistics from University College London.

Eddi Danusaputro

CEO BNI Venture

Eddi Danusaputro currently serves as the CEO of BNI Ventures, a venture capital company under the auspices of BNI (Bank Negara Indonesia). Previously, he held the position of CEO at Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI) and also served as the President Commissioner at Amartha. He has a career spanning 12 years in fund management companies in Singapore, including Morgan Stanley, AXA, Makara Capital, Booz Allen Hamilton, and AT Kearney. Eddi Danusaputro holds an MBA from Duke University and a Doctorate in Management Science from the University of Indonesia.

Joshua Agusta

Executive Director Vertex Venture

Joshua Agusta joined the Vertex Ventures SE Asia team in 2022. He is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prior to joining Vertex, Joshua was a Director of Venture Funds at Mandiri Capital Indonesia, the corporate VC arm of Bank Mandiri, one of the largest financial institutions in Indonesia. During his tenure at Mandiri Capital, he successfully set up and led the creation of Indonesia Impact Fund ($25Mn AUM) and Merah Putih Fund ($300Mn AUM). Joshua was also one of the founding team at MDI Ventures, the Corporate VC arm of Telkom Indonesia, Indonesia’s largest telco company. His last held position was a Vice President of Investments where he led all the investment operations of MDI Ventures and managed to secure a total of 7 exits during his tenure.

Lesly Goh

Senior Technology Advisor World Bank and former Chief Technology Officer of World Bank Group

Lesly Goh is the Senior Advisor, former Chief Technology Officer for the World Bank Group. She is a Fellow at Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) Judge Business School and Senior Fellow at National University of Singapore (NUS) Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Lesly brings an extensive international experience, advising government policy makers and central banks on the regulatory impact from emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G , Cloud and Edge Computing. Prior to the public sector role, Lesly built a solid technology career in private sector such as Microsoft, Deloitte and startups. She is a certified Data Architect and worked on many high-profile Data and AI initiatives in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare/Life Sciences and Digital Government, including Smart Cities designed for resilience. Lesly is member of the WEF Global Future Councils on Data Policy – Platform for shaping the Future of Technology Governance on data policy.

Bintang Puspayoga

Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection of Republic of Indonesia
I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati is an Indonesian politician. She is also known as Bintang Puspayoga, she serves as Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection in the 41st Cabinet of Indonesia. The first Balinese women to become minister. Bintang Puspayoga was registered as a civil servant at the Denpasar City Government since 24 December 2008. He then held the first position as Assistant Inspector for Region III at the Denpasar City Inspectorate since 31 December 2008. She is also active in social activities such as being Chair of the Indonesian Women’s Hindu Dharma (WHDI) Bali Province and serving as Chair of the Provincial Board of the All Indonesian Table Tennis Association (PTMS) Bali.

Putri Tanjung

Trans Digital Lifestyle Group

Putri Tanjung, born on September 22, 1996, is the youngest Presidential Special Staff of Indonesia and holds multiple roles at CT Corp as the Commissioner and Chief Experience Officer. Her leadership extends to multiple entities, holding the position of CEO at Trans Digital Lifestyle Group, overseeing Female Daily, Beautynesia, HaiBunda, and CXO Media. Additionally, she serves as the Chief Experience Officer of Allo Bank. Her notable achievements include receiving the Satyalencana Wira Karya medal of honor Medal of honor from the president of republic of Indonesia for her dedication in empowering SMEs in August 2023 and being recognized as one of Indonesia’s Forbes 30 under 30 in March 2022.
